Matt Grimes
First and foremost, Matt is simply a follower of Christ. After his love for God, he is passionately in love with his beautiful wife Carmen, and daughter Elin Marie. “When my life is over, I want the world to say that I loved no one more than my Savior, and that I was the best husband I could be to my wife, and the best father my kids could ever ask for. What achievements have I truly achieved if I fail my wife and my kids?”
Matt currently serves as the Middle School Pastor at Faith Promise Church in Knoxville TN, where each week he helps over 200 middle schoolers to encounter Christ and learn what it means to walk with Him. Starting in 2005, he has seen the ministry grow from 65 students to over 200, developing a leadership base of over 40 adult volunteers who are committed to partnering with parents to lead the next generation in a passionate love affair with their Savior. “The SCORRE method has revolutionized my ability to communicate, by giving my messages 'pin point' clarity." "Communicating with 'pin point' clarity is an extremely valuable skill when communicating to both student and adult audiences.” Matt joined the SCORRE staff in 2008, and is committed to helping speakers, regardless of their audience, to communicate with clarity and precision.
